"Music for your LIfe and Leisure"  A new website created by professional musicians from around the world.  I am humbled by the gift of music and the experiences that it has allowed me to see, hear and touch.  Music has taken me around the world to many countries including China, Hong Kong, S. Korea, India and The Philippines.  These experiences have helped me to evolve and grow as a musician and member of the global community.  Living among and seeing other cultures has also transformed my performances and spiritually to a new level of consciousness.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to perform and live for a full year in China.  I met some wonderful people that have become life long friends.  I always enjoyed learning and living with people of other cultures and I think these experiences have broadened my perspective of the world.  During this time, I also become a vegetarian.  It happened after meeting many people from around the world  who where vegetarian and to be honest they all had a certain glow.  I know what are you thinking,  but nevertheless I wanted to try it to give up meat and I said to myself that I would  give it a try for three months and I have never looked back.

I performed and stayed in Pudong which is in Shanghai. This is what many people may know as downtown Shanghai. I  worked for The Grand Hyatt Hotel, The Inter-Continental Hotel and The Four Seasons Hotel while in Shanghai.  I eventually got an apartment in area where there was plenty of shopping and Hollywood pirated movies , Lol but that's another story. 

I am looking forward to going back to China as I have not yet visited The Great Wall.

I would always enjoy performing for The Smooth Jazz Station 105.9 in Washington D.C.

One event that happened every year in the summer would be "Wind Down Wednesday"  It was held outside and totally free for the jazz fans. 

I was one of the artists chosen every year to perform.  I performed with my good friends Howard "FunkyFoot" Brooks on drums and Lorenzo Sands on bass two great musicians in Washington D.C.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Landsdowne is a five star hotel and resort in Landsdowne, VA. Every year there is a summer concert series of national and international jazz artists.  I was fortunate to be part of the starting line-up of artists to perform.   

The concert was held over looking the beautiful manicured grass of the golf course and the music fans would listen intently while sipping on a glass of wine.
